Firelands Budget Plan
You can smooth out the lumps and bumps in your monthly
electric bills with Firelands' Budget Plan.
Your electric bill varies from month-to month
and with the seasons of the year, and your bills usually are highest
during the coldest winter months and hottest summer months. Firelands' Budget Program allows members to pay an average dollar amount each month, based on the
previous 12 months’ electric use. This billing service is offered at no extra cost
and is completely optional.
Don’t wait until higher summer electric bills reach your home; act now to
avoid seasonal lumps and bumps. Members enrolling in the program are
required to have at least 12 months of residency listed in their name at their
current address and must be enrolled by June 18.

Bills & Payment Options
Electric bills are mailed to members on the first of each month. Payment is due by the 14th of the month, and a penalty applies for payments received after the due date. Bill payments can be mailed, paid at the office or deposited in the 24-hour drive-up lock box, or paid online.
Firelands' E-Bill Site allows you to view and pay your account information. You won’t be required to pay your electric bill online. Your electric cooperative is committed to the security of your personal information, and ensure you’re paying your bill on a secure web site.
Firelands accepts electronic checks and credit cards (Visa, Master Card and Discover) for payment of electric bills, fees and purchases.
The optional Automatic Bill Credit (ABC) plan, automatically deducts payment for your bill from your checking, savings or credit card account each month. You will receive a bill statement for information purposes, and your monthly bank or credit card statement will list the payment. It's as simple and easy as ABC . . . with no bill to mail.
