Firelands Facebook Friend of the Month

Congratulations to Melissa Marsh Wilson—Firelands' Facebook friend of the month for September.

Melissa is a co-op Facebook friend, where she remains informed on co-op events and receives energy saving tips from her electric cooperative.

Becoming a Firelands Facebook friend is easy, and involves three simple steps:

• If you are not already a Facebook member, sign up online at — www.facebook.com.
• Once you are on Firelands’ Facebook page, simply click the “Become a Friend” link on the upper left of the page.
  

As a fan of Firelands Electric Cooperative on Facebook, you will receive helpful energy saving tips, important notifications and have an opportunity to be selected as the Firelands Facebook friend of the month, which is featured on Firelands’ facebook page and in County Living magazine.

Stay Informed! Firelands members can be notified of planned maintenance outages, receive updates on storm-related power outages, and receive "Peak Alert" load management alerts directly to cell phones or e-mail addresses.
