Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.

Firelands Electric Cooperative sponsors two high school sophomores or juniors on the Annual Youth Tour to Washington, D.C., in cooperation with the Ohio Rural Electric Cooperatives, Inc. and the National Rural Electric Cooperatives Association. The candidates must be sons and daughters of Firelands members, and compete for the opportunity to participate in the summer trip.

We would like to emphasize that knowledge of rural electric cooperatives handbook many times becomes the determining factor. Candidates are urged to thoroughly study the handbook, "Cooperatives - the Competitive Difference" (August 2007 Edition). A test is given on this information.
