STUFF THE BUS Firelands Electric Cooperative is excited to partner with VacationLand Federal Credit Union for their 2024-25 Stuff the Bus program, which provides new backpacks and school supplies to local students in grades K-8. The program serves school districts located in Erie and Huron counties, including Monroeville, New London, South Central, Willard, and St. Francis Xavier. From now through August 4, Firelands Electric members and the community at-large are encouraged to drop off donations of school supplies in the collection box located just inside the front entrance of the cooperative's office. A list of suggested items can be found HERE. Last year Stuff the Bus filled a record 555 backpacks, and organizers are determined to exceed that number this year. The success of this program is made possible with the help of partners like Firelands Electric and through the generous donations of the community.
