ACRE Co-op Owners for Political Action - ACRE is a grassroots political action committee that was formed in 1966 with the mission of making the voice of rural electric cooperative consumers heard in the U.S. Congress. At just $2.08 per month, your participation in the nationwide Co-op Owners program ensures that the voice of electric cooperatives remains strong in our nation's capital and in our state legislature. In these unpredictable times, maintaining a strong grassroots presence in the political process is instrumental to the long-term success

Cooperative Action Network - Is the advocacy hub for America’s electric cooperatives.Take action and learn more about legislation issues that can affect Ohio's electric cooperatives. The Cooperative Action Network is the grassroots arm of the NRECA – the national service organization for more than 900 not-for-profit rural electric cooperatives that provide electricity to more than 42 million consumers across 48 states. Together, rural electric cooperatives serve 56 percent of the nation’s landmass and account for approximately 12 percent of total electricity sales in the United States.
